The 2022 Mo Issa Writing Workshops

Writers Project of Ghana announces the opening of applications for the fifth edition of the Mo Issa Writing Workshops. This year, the workshop series will run online over a period of four weeks and will only cater for fiction and non-fiction writers.

The Mo Issa Writing Workshops are an annual writing workshop series for writers who are working on a writing project. The workshop aims to help improve writing skill and also creates an opportunity for interaction and networking.

Applications will be received until Wednesday 28th August, 2022, and the workshop sessions will start on 4th September 2022.

Book Launch: Voices That Sing Behind The...

In place of the June edition of our monthly reading event, Writers Project of Ghana is happy to join the Goethe-Institut, the publishers, and the editor to launch the new anthology of African short fiction, Voices That Sing Behind The Veil. This collection features fixty-six stories from Africa and the African diaspora. The event is on Friday, 1st July 2022, at the usual venue of the Goethe-Institut, Cantonments.
