Akumbu Uche

Akumbu Uche is a writer and storyteller from Nigeria. In 2017, her children’s book Yaks and the Giant, a retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk was published by OkadaBooks. An alumna of the Accord Literary Children’s Writers and Illustrators Workshop, and the LOATAD West African Writers Residency, she is actively creating new work for young audiences.
